- Gan Fall is mentioned to have helped Roger head to the Blue Sea
- The Neptune scene is incredibly misleading. What really happened is that Shyarly made a prediction where around this point the border entrance to Fishman Island would be destroyed, so the royal army and Neptune are heavily defending it. Roger arrives and Neptune takes him into custody since, knowing Roger's insane strength, he could easily destroy the entrance. However, some sea kings attack the entrance during their talk, which causes it to be destroyed, just like the prophecy said. There is no "day of disaster", Neptune simply says "so this prophecy came true [as well]"
- The wording in the poneglyph scene makes it sound as if "the road poneglyph isn't important", but it's the opposite, it's the letter from Joy Boy that seems to not be important
- Poseidon isn't reborn every 100 years, but every "few hundred years", which is consistent with what was said before during the Fishman Island arc. Also, no mention of "the god of the sea", Neptune simply says "In this country, every few hundred years, a mermaid with the power to talk to sea kings is born... then could it be...?"
- The line of "I couldn't stand to look at it with my own eyes" isn't in the original
- Oden doesn't say he would come back in 4 years to a bad homecoming, but that this current homecoming, after being away for 4 years, lasted mere hours
- Oden mentions that his heart won't calm down when approaching the whale tree, very interesting
- Roger also says that he feels as if he's being stared at
- Buggy doesn't contract the "you'll-die-if-you-go-to-that-island-disease", that's made up, he simply contracts a high fever. He also pretends he's fine and feels well, in an attempt to convince them to take him
- The panel before the final page is incorrect. The translation fails to mention that the One Piece is referred to as "an enormous treasure" (莫大な宝), "that did really exist"
